Every month, we host a massage career preview to let potential students know about our Portland, OR massage program. We also address general questions about massage therapy careers. Here’s the schedule for our massage career preview on September 20th:
10:00am to 12:00pm – Massage Career Preview
Bring your questions about massage. We’ll discuss life as a massage therapist, the ins and outs of massage school, how to turn a massage license into a successful career, and more. This Q&A session will be attended by a practicing LMT, as well as an East West College admission representative. Job opportunities, licensure, and financial aid—we’ll discuss these areas, as well as any other questions you may have.
12:30pm-3:30pm – Introductory Massage Class
It feels like massage could be your calling—but you lack hands-on experience. If this sounds like you, you’ll love the second half of our massage career preview! An East West College instructor will deliver an introductory massage class with information on how to set up a massage table, how to carry out basic massage strokes, and proper draping techniques. This class will give you a good feel for life as an East West student. We’ll be working in couples, so either bring a partner, or we’ll partner you up with another student at the event. For ease of movement, it’s best to wear loose, comfortable clothing to the introductory massage class.
We invite you to join us on September 20th us for this Massage Career Preview on the East West College campus, at 525 NE Oregon Street, Portland, OR. Our central location makes us one of the most transportation-friendly massage schools in Portland. The East West College campus is located on bike paths and public transportation routes.
