East West College may accept transfer credit for any courses completed at other colleges or universities and schools of massage therapy. The course(s) must be substantially equivalent in length and content to the corresponding East West College course(s) as determined by the Director of Education. To be considered for transfer credit, the student must submit to an East West College Admissions Representative a sealed transcript as well as an official course description from the college catalog or an official course syllabus. If the course is approved, the student must pass a written challenge examination in the course being challenged. If the course has a practical, hands-on component, the student must also pass a practical challenge exam. A credit transfer fee is charged for each course for which a student wants transfer credit, regardless of whether or not s/he passes the challenge exams. All challenge examinations must be completed and credits transferred before the enrollment process is complete.
